The Professional Development Centre, North (PDC,N) works as an extended arm of IED​ to improve the quality of education in the government and private not-for-profit schools in the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) region. It is the first of its kind state-of-the-art professional development hub for teachers, teacher educators, education administrators and managers in the region.
