Abstract
This article is focusing on practicalities of implementing a global education initiative, the Youth Millennium Project (YMP), in international classrooms and curricula. The interest was in the potentiality of YMP’s role in two key areas which are developing a sense of both local and global “community” in participants and promoting the rights and responsibilities which accompany belonging to local and global communities. A study was done in order to find out if the Youth Millennium Project a viable global educational program which can be realistically implemented in international schools and curricula, as well as finding out if participation in the Youth Millennium Project foster, enhance or assist in developing a sense of “global citizenship”.
