Abstract
Intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) and endovascular mechanical thrombectomy (EMT) services for hyper-acute ischaemic stroke (HIS) are suboptimally delivered in lower-middle-income countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Our hospital is the only regional tertiary neurology referral centre that has routinely provided both treatments since 2015.
