Abstract

Global health organizations have sounded the alarm about climate change and its effects on planetary and human health. Health professions programs have been slow to incorporate climate change into their schools’ curricula. This commentary describes a webinar series created by the International Association of Medical Science Educators Webcast Audio Seminar Committee to support faculty to incorporate knowledge gained from the series into their own curricula. While the webinar series seeks to educate faculty from educational institutions globally about climate change, challenges remain regarding how climate change can be integrated into their schools’ curricula and when accrediting organizations will mandate this.
