Aims & Scope

For the benefit of midwives, midwifery and women, JAM aims to:

• provide a platform for dissemination of regional and international midwifery research, practice, education and scholarship.
• encourage regional transcendence of knowledge and evidence-base practice among midwives and other relevant health professionals in South Asia.
• provide a forum for dialogue and discussion around maternal, neonatal and child health issues for practitioners, policy-makers, researchers, childbearing women and their families.
