Abstract
Introduction: Family planning is crucial for reducing the maternal mortality rate by 32% and the child death rate by 10%. In developed countries, family planning services have achieved their goal by reducing the family size from six children to three, avoiding unwanted pregnancies and conducting safe abortions. Pakistan is a country with a rapid population growth rate; it is currently ranked fifth in the list of highly populated countries. In Pakistan, 64% of the population is rural, whereas 31 % live below the poverty line. The Pakistan health sector is facing an alarming situation. Moreover, Pakistan has the highest total fertility rate of 3.6%, with a contraceptive prevalence of 34.2%. Successful FP services and programs can be helpful in overcoming the chaos and opening ways for future growth.

/="/">Methodology: A qualitative, exploratory study design was used to explore the perceptions of males and females of reproductive age and healthcare professionals in Sindh. The purposive sampling method was used. Data was collected with the help of IDI and FGDs. The analysis was carried out through the content analysis.
/="/">Result: The identified themes were, Doctrine of divine, Call for help and Determinants of Health, Success of FP, and Humble Submissions. The doctrine of divine was categorized into reverent and orthodox beliefs, sacred theology, and intentions to design human subjects in the world. The call for help included money-spinning challenges, paucity of deep pockets, and the inevitability of patriarchy. The third theme was sub-divided into health care services, your only limit is your mind, and one candle can enlighten all the ways.
/="/">Conclusion: The study provided helpful insight into the importance of the imam at the local level, impact of religion, women’s empowerment, low economic status, and gender inequality. The study suggested that there is a great need to upgrade the education of the imam, provide services at the doorstep and upgrade the status of women to achieve FP goals.
