Description
This commemorative volume features the winning entries of the Al-Kalam National Essay Competition, organized by the Aga Khan University Resource Development Committee for Canada in celebration of AKU’s Tenth Anniversary. With over 100 submissions from Ismaili youth and adults across Canada, the publication presents selected essays categorized by Junior, Post-Secondary, and Adult entries. Themes include the role of AKU in the Muslim world, youth leadership, education in the developing world, and Mawlana Hazar Imam’s vision for institutions of excellence. A foreword by President Shamsh Kassim-Lakha and jury acknowledgments are also included.
