Description
The Jamiapoash, AKU’s academic regalia, draws inspiration from Islamic traditions of attire and design. Comprising the Sirpoash (headwear) and Khila’at (robe), it reflects the University’s identity through colors, motifs, and embroidery inspired by AKU’s architecture and Islamic heritage. Distinctions in robes mark students, faculty, trustees, the Chancellor, the Patron, and honorary degree recipients. Designed by Dr. Aziz Ali Najam, the regalia embodies both tradition and modernity.
