Description
This handbook was developed as a collaborative effort by the Aga Khan Health Services, the Aga Khan Foundation, and UNICEF to support mid-level healthcare workers such as Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) and Midwives in Pakistan and other developing countries. It includes detailed guidance on maternal and child health, pediatrics, obstetrics, nutrition, communicable and common diseases, and public health practices. The book emerged from a seminar aimed at identifying the health challenges faced by LHVs and provides practical, routine management solutions for common medical problems in low-resource settings.
