Introduction:

This workshop is designed to gain and enhance insight about the significance of addressing sexual and reproductive health issues while dealing with clients presenting with Non-Communicable Diseases. The interactive sessions, interesting activities, and hands on practice will provide the participants opportunities to explore their own comfort in addressing issues related to human sexuality. Moreover, it will help them demonstrate several context-specific strategies to be used in dealings with patients, families and communities presenting with NCDs.

Objectives:

At the end of workshop the participants should be able to know:

  • Recognize the importance of addressing issues related to sexual health while dealing with clients having Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
  • Demonstrate skills of addressing issues related to sexual health of clients presenting with Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
  • Appreciate the significance of integrating aspect of sexual and reproductive health in healthcare professional education.
