Abstract

Retinal astrocytomas are low-grade neoplasms, typically of non-aggressive nature. Tumor characteristics may vary greatly and they most often occur in association with tuberous sclerosis. Less commonly, astrocytomas may occur with neurofibromatosis or they may be sporadic 1,2 .
