Kano to recommence vaccination against poliomyelitis

Abstract

Nigeria's Kano state is set to relaunch a poliomyelitis vaccination campaign as early as next month after it halted vaccination in August 2003 because of fears that the vaccine contained HIV and infertility drugs, WHO announced last week.
