Polio spreads to western darfur
A 5-year-old Sudanese girl has been infected by poliovirus in the violence-hit Western Darfur region in Sudan, which had been polio-free for more than 3 years. WHO's David Heymann called it “the latest setback” to progress made by Africa in eradicating polio.
